How To Approve/Reject Pending Check-In/Check-Out in MappyField 365 With Azure Maps?

Image
Earlier, field agents could check in and check out for appointments using the Dynamics 365 map plugin. However, we are now adding an additional feature called “Pending Check-in and Check-out.” With this feature, you will be able to view a list of pending check-ins/check-outs, and the user will need to provide a reason for any late check-ins. Here’s how the feature works: 1. First, go to the Map > Plot and select the entity, such as appointments. 2. Next, click on the “Search” button, and the appointment will be plotted on the map. 3. Then, click on any appointment pin and select the “Check-in” button from the right panel.   If the user checks in late for the appointment, they need to provide a reason for the late check-in.   If the check-in is pending, users will receive an error message when they try to check out. Admins can approve or reject pending check-ins by navigating to the Check In-Check Out tab. You need to select the Pending Check-In view, where you can see all t...

How To Create and Manage Multiple Territories in Dynamics CRM With a Single Click Using Azure Maps?

Image
Territory management helps the Sales team manage region-wise sales and marketing campaigns. Dynamics 365/CRM provides default functionality for creating and assigning territories to CRM users. You can create a new territory and assign it to a Manager and an account from the Dynamics CRM backend. However, managing territories within CRM requires performing many manual tasks. In addition, the default territory management functionality in Dynamics CRM has several limitations. To overcome these limitations, a  Dynamics 365 map integration —AppJetty MappyField 365—provides an overview of all your sales territories, allowing you to easily create and manage them geographically from the map. With “MappyField 365,” you can create and manage territories and assign them to managers and accounts directly from the map. Additionally, you can merge and expand territories based on different “Search Options.” Veronica, a general manager in a pharmaceutical company, manages medicine sales. Her respo...

How To Create a Territory Using Shapefile From MappyField 365 and Azure Maps in Dynamics 365?

Image
Managing activities based on regions or areas can be challenging for managers using Dynamics CRM alone. However, it is important to have an overview of sales, marketing, or services based on different regions and areas. Microsoft Dynamics 365 provides Sales Territory Management within CRM. You can manage specific areas for activities such as Sales, Services, Marketing Campaigns, Sales Demos, etc., from the Dynamics CRM Map. With AppJetty MappyField 365, you can plot your CRM data geographically. Users can get detailed information about their CRM activities based on the prospect’s location on the MappyField 365 map. MappyField 365 allows you to manage territories in four ways: By Region, Drawing, Territory, and File. If you have a shapefile of specific areas, you can import the shapefile to create a Territory on the MappyField 365 map and perform activities within that shape/region. This is one of the prominent ways for Dynamics 365 CRM users to plot records or locations on the map, ove...

The Hidden Cost of Poor Appointment Scheduling and How Dynamics 365 Calendar Solves It

Image
A sales rep misses a follow-up call because two meetings overlap, or a recruiter shows up late to an interview. These things might seem small, but when they keep happening, they slowly take a toll on time, money, and effort. According to Calendly,  59% of enterprise employees  spend five or more hours per week in meetings, compared to only 32% of SMB employees. That’s a full day, gone — every single week. Still, many teams using Dynamics 365 rely on calendars that weren’t designed for today’s pace of work. The real problem? Scheduling isn’t just about blocking time — it’s about keeping your business running smoothly. When calendar management breaks down, so does everything else. That’s where tools like Calendar 365 come in — built to make scheduling inside Dynamics 365 easier, clearer, and far less stressful. Real Impact of Inefficient CRM Scheduling When scheduling falls apart, so does the customer experience. Missed follow-ups, delayed responses, and double-booked meetings m...
